The current Chicken on the Bone lineup was finalized May 2008 with the permanent addition of professional musician Tommy Gunns on drums. Robert Heindel, founder of the Band has played with the other members since 2002, professional musician Bruce Tyner has been in the COTB line up since 2003, when he came to us from South Carolina toting two Masters Degrees in music and a Paul Reed Smith Guitar......
Robert and Bruce brought todays lineup in with the knowledge that they were not going to play line dances in this band... but form the most powerful musical trio to play all the CLASSIC AND PARTY ROCK one can handle... but our professionalism will allow us to play any song, if you have the money....
Aerosmith to ZZ Top and Elvis Presley to Motorhead sums up the span of music we do. ...
Chicken on the Bone has been playing all along the Gulf South for years, and it should be against the law, with all the fun we're having!
If you want to party and have a great time, this is the band for you!
Chicken on the Bone is open for gigs of any event, anywhere..and we do take credit cards....but we will not play line dances
